After the clinic closes · in their own language

Evening Care & the Jesus Film

When the clinic day ends, the welcome doesn't — a shared meal, a place to rest, and the story of Jesus in a village's own language.

Prompted and opened by God during our 2026 mission trip, Evening Care will launch for the first time in 2027. After each day's clinic closes, we offer a simple shared meal and show the Jesus Film in the local language — and everyone is warmly invited to come, eat, watch, and stay for conversation and prayer.

How it began

A door God opened in 2026

Evening Care grew out of one thing we kept seeing: the day's care was ending, but the need for welcome wasn't.

On the 2026 mission trip, our team kept seeing the same thing: after a long day of care, people were not in a hurry to leave. They lingered, they talked, they were hungry — for a warm meal, and for something more. We believe God used those evenings to show us a door.

So in 2027, we are answering it. When the clinic closes each day, the same courtyard that held the waiting line becomes a place to sit, eat, and watch the story of Jesus together — freely offered, and open to all who wish to come.

How an evening unfolds

From the clinic day to the screen

A gentle, unhurried rhythm — a meal first, the film in their own language, and an open door for whoever wishes to stay.

1

When the clinic closes

As the last patient of the day is cared for, the courtyard is set for the evening — chairs, a screen, and a warm welcome.

2

A simple supper together

Before anything is shown, neighbors are welcomed to share a simple, warm meal — offered freely, with no cost and no condition.

3

The Jesus Film

The life of Jesus, shown in the local language, so every person can follow the story in the words of their own heart.

4

An open invitation

Everyone is welcome — bring your family, bring a friend. There is a place for you here, and a seat kept for whoever comes.

5

Conversation & prayer

Afterward, we stay — to talk honestly, answer questions, and pray with anyone who wishes, for as long as they would like.

6

Connected to a church

Whoever wants to know more is warmly linked to a local church, so a first evening can become a lasting walk with Jesus.

Part of the mission

How it connects to the outreach

Evening Care & the Jesus Film is the fifth and closing component of the Annual Mission Outreach. After the clinic day and an optional invitation to prayer, families are welcome to stay for a simple shared meal and the Jesus Film in their own language — freely offered, and open to all who wish to come.
