I understand that Africa Cries Out (ACO) is a Christian nonprofit organization whose mission is guided by the example and love of Jesus Christ.
I understand that this mission trip is not designed as an intensive evangelistic program. However, Christian faith, values, prayer, reflection, and partnership with local churches are naturally part of ACO's ministry and may be reflected throughout the trip.
I acknowledge that every participant is expected to take part fully in all required scheduled activities, including service activities, team meetings, orientation, group reflection, cultural learning, and the Sunday reflection program. The Sunday program is not a local church worship service, but an important part of the team's shared reflection, learning, and mission experience; therefore, participation is required.
ACO will make every effort to respect each volunteer's personal background, conscience, and freedom of choice. Certain activities may be specifically identified in advance as optional or intended only for Christian participants. Participation in those clearly designated activities will be voluntary.
I confirm that I understand and accept the Christian context of ACO's mission for each person I am registering, and we agree to participate respectfully and fully in the required mission-trip schedule.
