What every child hears
A Pack with Love set isn’t only supplies — it carries a message. Whether or not a child ever visits again, the gift is meant to leave four simple truths behind:
A coloring backpack a child can make their own — packed with a coloring book, The Gospel Wordless Book, and a coloring set, and carried home from the mission as a lasting sign that they are loved.
Every gift goes straight to Pack with Love. Received and receipted through Africa Cries Out; tax-deductible. Anything raised beyond the goal supports the wider work of Children’s Hope & Care.
Pack with Love is a student-led youth service club that creates thoughtful, hands-made projects for children in partnership with trusted communities. Its very first project — the Love & Hope Backpack — supports Africa Cries Out’s Hope & Care Program during the 2027 medical mission in Senegal.
Every complete set is a backpack a child can color and make their own, packed with a matching coloring book, The Gospel Wordless Book, and a child-safe coloring set — so the joy keeps going long after the mission team has gone home. The backpack front carries a simple line of hope in the local Wolof language, “Yàlla bëgg na la” — “God loves you.”
The Love & Hope Backpack — ready for a child to color and make their own.
Four core items, designed to belong together as one gift.
A child-friendly backpack with a theme-based coloring design on the front — the child colors it and makes it their own.
A matching book of coloring pages, Bible truths, and encouraging notes — including pages designed by other children, for these children.
The Wordless Book uses five colors to present the Gospel in a simple, visual, and culturally adaptable way, making it useful for children in multilingual settings, including Muslim-majority communities.
Washable, age-appropriate coloring tools so a child can keep coloring the backpack and book at home, on their own time.
A Pack with Love set isn’t only supplies — it carries a message. Whether or not a child ever visits again, the gift is meant to leave four simple truths behind:
The Love & Hope Backpacks are shipped to the ACO base in Senegal and packed by volunteers, then handed out through Children’s Hope & Care during the 2027 Annual ACO Medical Mission (March 2027).
The first-year goal is at least 1,000 complete sets — reaching children across roughly ten villages. Final numbers depend on funds raised and guidance from ACO’s field leaders.
Pack with Love welcomes everyone; this course is for students who want to go deepest. Over 24 sessions — 21 Sunday classes plus 3 real-world fieldwork events — a class takes one project the whole way: surveying real customers, costing and pricing real goods, selling them at real sales events, then standing up at the Final Impact Showcase and accounting for what the numbers came to. Everything they raise goes to the shared backpack goal as the class team’s contribution, and every enrolled student becomes a Pack with Love Club member.
