The Harvest Needs Workers
Jesus looked on the crowds with compassion and told his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few; ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:37–38). From the beginning, ACO’s calling has been not only to heal and to preach, but to raise up workers and send out missionaries.
So we invest in people. We form young people for a lifetime of service, mobilize and equip medical professionals and volunteers, and open pathways for those called to serve for the long term — raising up local co-workers, leaders, and missionaries so the mission takes root in Africa and is carried forward by Africans themselves.

Forming the young, mobilizing volunteers, and opening long-term pathways — so that serving Africa also means raising up the workers and leaders who will carry the mission on.
The Next Generation
ACO invests in young people — through Bible teaching, sports, music, education support, and hands-on service — and walks with students toward higher education, medical and nursing school, and Christian leadership. Through Africa Cries Out Youth, the next generation is formed to serve their own communities and to lead the mission forward.
Sending & Serving
Each year ACO mobilizes doctors, nurses, and volunteers — and forms them as they serve. Medical professionals, adult volunteers, and youth are equipped, matched to real needs, and sent to serve with excellence, humility, and the love of Christ. To carry this further, ACO is establishing two networks — the ACO Medical Alliance and Friends of ACO — to recruit, form, and connect a growing community of people answering the call.

Train & Send
Looking ahead, ACO plans to build a missionary training institute in Senegal — a school distinct from our Technical & Vocational School — to train local believers in the Bible, theology, and practical ministry, and to send them out to serve their churches and carry the Gospel further. In the spirit of Paul the tentmaker, students will be equipped to support themselves as they serve. The wider vision is to raise up and equip local leaders, open pathways for volunteers called to longer-term service, and support and send long-term missionaries — so the mission is increasingly led and carried forward by Africans themselves.
