<\/p>\n

Since 2013\u2014except for a brief pause during the pandemic\u2014the Africa Cries Out Medical Mission Team<\/strong> has traveled each year to Senegal in West Africa, bringing medical care, compassion, and the love of Christ to local communities. In 2026, our team is once again preparing to go.<\/p>\n

Here is our latest ministry update.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Partnership with the Alliance of North American Chinese Physicians (ANACP)<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have officially signed a partnership agreement with ANACP. Together, we will combine medical expertise and compassionate service to bless communities in Africa.<\/p>\n

We especially thank Dr. Chris Liu<\/strong>, former ANACP president, who accepted the invitation to serve as Chairman of the Africa Cries Out Executive Committee<\/strong> after completing his term. Under his leadership, Africa Cries Out is entering a new season of growth.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

2. Continued collaboration with Direct Relief and AmeriCares<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are grateful for our long-term partnerships with two major U.S. humanitarian organizations:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • AmeriCares<\/strong> has donated approximately $700,000 USD<\/strong> worth\u00a0of medicine, which has already arrived in Senegal.<\/li>\n
  • Direct Relief<\/strong> has approved more than $700,000 USD<\/strong> worth of additional medical supplies, which will be shipped soon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    These resources will greatly strengthen our medical outreach this year.<\/p>\n

    3. Volunteer participation in 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This year, 110 volunteers<\/strong> have registered, including:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • 23 physicians<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • 62 youth volunteers<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • 25 adult chaperones<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Many families and young people have returned multiple times\u2014some youth volunteers are joining for the fifth time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      \"\"<\/p>\n

      4. Mission trip schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Week 1:<\/strong> March 19\u201327, 2026<\/li>\n
      • Week 2:<\/strong> March 26\u2013April 5, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Some volunteers will serve for two consecutive weeks<\/strong>. We deeply appreciate their dedication and sacrifice.<\/p>\n

        5. Ministry locations<\/strong><\/p>\n

        This year, the medical team will serve in 10 forest villages<\/strong>, including Fatiga<\/strong>, a remote village more than 700 km<\/strong> from Dakar.<\/p>\n

        Our surgical team will also perform operations at local hospitals in Senegal.<\/p>\n

        \"\"<\/p>\n

        6. Youth ministry activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

        In addition to medical work, youth volunteers will participate in:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Delivering rice and cooking oil to families<\/li>\n
        • Visiting homes to understand living conditions<\/li>\n
        • Touring museums to learn about local culture<\/li>\n
        • Fellowship and cultural exchange with local youth<\/li>\n
        • Music and arts performances<\/li>\n
        • Medical career exploration and basic medical training<\/li>\n
        • Discussions on life direction and calling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          These activities help shape young hearts, cultivate compassion, and provide meaningful opportunities to serve. This is why so many youth return year after year.<\/p>\n

          \"\"<\/p>\n

          7. Behind-the-scenes preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Many volunteers have worked tirelessly\u2014giving time, effort, and resources\u2014to prepare for this year\u2019s mission. All ministry teams (registration, logistics, education, youth, outreach, surgery, internal medicine, and more) are now fully staffed and trained.<\/p>\n

          We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone serving faithfully behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

          8. Local and international partners ready to serve<\/strong><\/p>\n

          More than 100 churches in Senegal<\/strong>, a<\/p>\n

          long with teams from Brazil<\/strong> and the United States<\/strong>, are ready to join us in village outreach, service, and evangelism.<\/p>\n

          \"\"<\/p>\n

          🌱 Thirteen Years of Ministry in Africa<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Since beginning our work in Africa, Africa Cries Out has:<\/p>\n

            \n
          • Supported 2 clinics<\/strong> and 1 technical school<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Provided medical care to over 50,000 patients<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Completed around 70 surgeries<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Trained more than 400 technical students<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Successfully drilled 11 wells<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            We believe meaningful work is done step by step<\/strong>, and lives are changed one person at a time<\/strong>. As we bring healing to others, we ourselves are transformed. As we share the gospel, we grow together.<\/p>\n
