<\/p>\nOn December 20, 2021, I received an email from Pastor Anderson,<\/p>\n

“Dear Doctor Xu,<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I would like to update you with the latest news of our lives. Like everyone else, our days are full of tension, emotion, and struggle.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
As you know that in 2020, we experienced a second miscarriage in the 9th week of pregnancy. God, with His kindness, once again made us pregnant. Antonina was born on November 27 and we praise God for that.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The following week, I was in the center of Dakar (the capital) to prepare the birth certificate documents for our daughter. I parked the car on the street and found that the car was on fire when I came back. The firefighters broke the hood and started throwing sand. This was a moment of great panic and terror; it was horrible to see your important stuff went down and you can’t stop it.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, we still believe that this was God’s salvation, because Anderson was alone that day and was not in the car at the time. We did not understand how the car caught fire. In our opinion, it was “suddenly”, but we knew that everything works together for the benefit of those who love God.<\/p>\n

We have discussed with some mechanics and experienced experts, but they all said that repairing the car was impossible and the best option was to accept the loss.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We are facing new challenges and need a car to continue our mission work. We are missionaries in Leprosy Village, 700 kilometers away from the capital. Here, even in the shortest journey, we don\u2019t have quality public transportation that can serve us. In most cases, the road to the village is hazardous.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We have many projects and commitments at the end of this year, and unfortunately we have to put a pause on them. We ask for your help, whether it is praying, contributing, or sharing this request with your prayer partners.<\/p>\n

Pastor Anderson was called by the Lord in July this year to become the pastor-in-residence of Fadigo, one Leprosy Village, Kedogou province, Senegal. He continued Pastor Anna\u2019s work there, and, like her, gave himself and his<\/p>\n
children to the Lord. We could not imagine how a social worker working in Sao Paulo and a senior manager of the Brazilian Bank gave up everything and went to Africa for the poor, now he can\u2019t even afford a car.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
After receiving Pastor Anderson\u2019s request, we didn\u2019t hesitate to transfer 7,000 US dollars in the name of Africa Cries Out. Together with the 7,000 US dollars donated by Pastor Nelson\u2019s Church, Pastor Anderson immediately bought a used car, and they could continue the projects again. What a beautiful thing to visit the poor and preach the gospel.<\/p>\n

Dear brothers and sisters, “Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.” (Romans 12:17 NKJV) Many times, we cannot go to the front line of missions, but we pray and donate for them, it is called missions. It is to do good things in the sight of all men.<\/p>\n
